Summer Fun Pack
Stick Puppets
Supplies for Stick Puppets
- Stick puppet template (get it here)
- Scissors
- Tape
- Coloring Supplies
- Popsicle sticks
How to make the stick puppets
- Have your child color the pictures if you are using non-colored beach stick puppets
- Cut out the stick puppets
- Help your child attach a popsicle stick to the back of each stick puppets using the tape
- Create the beach scene or let your child play

Beach Scene for the stick puppets
Supplies for stick puppet beach scene
- Card-stock in the following colors
- 1-Light Brown (sand color)
- 1-Light blue
- Scissors
- Tape
How to make a stick puppet beach scene
- Cut the light brown card stock about 2″ from the bottom
- On the larger piece of the light brown, cut a wavy line
- Help your child place the wavy line on top of the blue card stock with the wavy line in the middle of the page and line up the flat bottoms of the pages
- Get your child to help tape the sides of the wavy brown and blue pages together
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the smaller light brown piece
- Time to play! YAY!

Coloring Pages
The coloring pages include a page for each month of summer along with a general summer coloring sheet.
Construction Paper Pineapple
Pineapple Craft Supplies
- Construction paper
- 1 yellow
- 1 green
- Double-sided tape or a glue stick
- Have your child shred the yellow and green construction paper into small pieces
- Have your child place a line of glue or double sided tape on the pineapple body.
- Have your child place yellow pieces of paper on the glue/tape until the line is all covered.
- Have your child repeat steps 2 and 3 until the pineapple body is covered.
- Finally, repeat steps 2 and 3 for the green pineapple leaves using the green construction paper
- Ta-da! You now have a fun piece of artwork for your fridge!
