  3. Place your foam core board on a flat surface that you don’t mind cutting on top of.  (I used one of the carpeted rooms, but you can also use a cardboard box if you don’t have carpet or a floor you can cut on top of)
  4. Put the Christmas tree cut out on top of the foam core board
  5. Place the cups upside down onto different parts of the tree
  6. Have your child help you trace the cups onto the tree
  7. Using the scissors or the box cutter, pick up the tree and cut the circles out of the tree
  8. Place the tree on top of the foam core board again and have your child help you trace the holes you just cut out
  9. Remove the tree and cut the circles out of the foam core board.  (Save the circles for optional decorating)Place the cups on top trace and cut
  10. Have your child put the cups through the holes cut in the foam core board
Remove the tree and place cups in the holes
  11. Use 2 pieces of packing tape for each cup to tape it to the board by placing one end of the tape inside the cup and the other end onto the board.Tape cups to board
